VialVault Calculator Privacy Policy

Overview

VialVault Calculator is a focused standalone calculation utility from Crux Horizon. It performs vial reconstitution, concentration, draw volume, and U-100 syringe calculations on the user’s device for the active session.

The released Calculator does not create accounts, does not sync calculation data to Crux Horizon servers, and does not transmit calculator inputs or results as part of its calculation workflow.

Informational Use Only

VialVault Calculator is an informational calculation utility. It does not provide medical advice, does not recommend doses, and does not replace clinical judgement or guidance from a qualified healthcare professional. Crux Horizon does not collect health records through the Calculator.

On-Device Calculation Processing

When you use VialVault Calculator, values you enter — such as vial amount, diluent volume, intended amount, and selected units — are processed only in memory for the active calculation session. Derived results, including concentration, draw volume, millilitre values, and U-100 syringe measurements, are also transient.

Closing or restarting the app clears those values. The Calculator does not persist calculator inputs or results and does not store calculation history.

Information We Do Not Collect Through the App

The released VialVault Calculator does not collect names, email addresses, account IDs, or profiles through the application. It does not use accounts or sign-in, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, tracking, crash-reporting SDKs, or advertising identifiers. It does not use HealthKit, Google Fit, or other health-data APIs. It does not transmit calculator inputs or results, and it does not share calculator data with third parties.

Permissions and Network Access

The Calculator requests no sensitive device permissions for its calculation features. The release Android build does not request the INTERNET permission. The application is designed so that calculator inputs and results are not transmitted off the device as part of the calculation workflow.

Support Communications

Users may voluntarily contact Crux Horizon through external support channels such as email. Information a user chooses to send through those channels is outside the Calculator’s on-device calculation processing. Crux Horizon may receive details the user includes — for example a name, email address, message content, or other information they elect to provide — and may retain that information as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, investigate issues, or meet legal, security, or record-keeping obligations.

Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to address your request.

Platform and Third-Party Services

Operating systems, app stores, device keyboards, device backups, and other platform-level services may process information under their own privacy policies independently of VialVault Calculator. Crux Horizon does not control those services and does not make absolute claims about how Apple, Google, keyboard providers, device diagnostics systems, or operating systems handle information.

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Crux Horizon is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party or platform services.

Data Security

Because calculator values remain in the active session on the device and are not transmitted by the app, users remain responsible for controlling access to their device. For information provided directly to Crux Horizon through support channels, Crux Horizon uses reasonable administrative and technical practices. No communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Deletion

Calculator inputs and results clear when the app is closed or restarted, and uninstalling the app removes the application from the device. There is no Crux Horizon server-side Calculator dataset of calculation inputs or results requiring deletion.

To request deletion of personal information you provided directly to Crux Horizon through support or other voluntary communications, email us at the address below. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to meet legal, security, or record-keeping obligations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as VialVault Calculator develops, our practices change, or applicable requirements evolve. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate product or support channel.
