VialVault Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CRUX HORIZON PTY LTD (“Crux Horizon”) handles information in connection with the VialVault application and related support communications.

Effective date: 24 September 2026

About VialVault

VialVault is an organizational application for personal vial inventory, preparation records, scheduling, reminders, planning, and mathematical reference calculations.

VialVault does not create a VialVault user account and does not synchronize your inventory, schedules, or history with a Crux Horizon cloud service.

Information Stored on the Device

VialVault may store information you enter or generate in the app locally on your device. Depending on how you use VialVault, this may include:

  • vial and inventory details;
  • compound names, strengths, and quantities;
  • preparation and reconstitution information;
  • storage information;
  • supplier, batch, expiry, and notes where you enter them;
  • schedules, plans, and titration or course details;
  • dose and activity history;
  • reminder preferences;
  • an optional preferred name and appearance settings;
  • custom label templates and artwork; and
  • opaque vial link identifiers used for printed QR labels.

How Information Is Used

Information stored on your device is used to operate VialVault on that device. This includes displaying your inventory, performing mathematical reference calculations from values you provide, managing schedules and plans you create, scheduling local reminders, creating labels, and supporting backup, export, and restore features you control.

Local Storage

Inventory, schedules, history, settings, and related records remain on your device unless you choose an action that moves information outside the app. Examples include exporting or sharing a backup, printing or sharing a label PDF, sending feedback email, or opening an external link in your browser.

Your device operating system, device backups, or other services you enable separately may also handle local application data under their own settings and policies.

Photos and Label Artwork

If you add artwork to a custom label, VialVault uses the system photo or file picker so you can choose an image. Selected artwork is stored locally with the app. VialVault does not upload selected artwork to Crux Horizon. Camera access is not required for this feature.

Notifications

VialVault can show local dose reminders on your device. Notification permission is controlled by your operating system and can be changed in device settings. Reminder information is not sent to a Crux Horizon push-notification server.

Backups, Exports and Sharing

If you export a backup, the file may contain private inventory, preparation, scheduling, planning, and dose-history information. Export and sharing use operating-system interfaces, and you choose where the file is saved or sent. VialVault does not upload backups to a Crux Horizon server.

VialVault does not encrypt backup files. Protect exported backups and only store or share them using destinations you trust. Reset App Data does not delete backup copies stored outside the app. Label PDFs may also be printed or shared through operating-system interfaces.

Printed VialVault QR codes use a web link that contains an opaque vial identifier. The QR code does not contain compound names, strengths, doses, schedules, supplier, batch, expiry, or notes. When opened in the installed VialVault app, the identifier is matched against your local inventory. VialVault does not use these QR links for advertising or analytics inside the app.

If a VialVault QR link is opened in a web browser instead of the app, a static Crux Horizon fallback page may load. That page does not display vial details. The current website source does not use scripts to parse the vial identifier. Ordinary website or hosting request information may still be processed by the hosting provider under its own practices.

Some in-app references, including Sources & Methodology links, open externally in your browser. External websites operate under their own privacy practices. Opening those links does not send your VialVault inventory or schedule database to Crux Horizon.

Feedback and Support Email

Feedback and support are optional and user-initiated. When you choose feedback in VialVault, the app opens an email draft addressed to support@cruxhorizon.com. You can review, edit, or discard the draft before anything is sent. VialVault does not automatically send feedback.

The generated draft may include the feedback category or type you selected, a workflow area, task-completion status, and app version, build, and platform information. It does not automatically include your inventory contents, schedules, or dose history. If you send the email, Crux Horizon receives the sender email address and the message contents you choose to provide, and your email provider may also process the message under its own policy.

Support correspondence may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain support records. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to address your request.

Analytics, Advertising and Tracking

The current VialVault application does not include advertising SDKs, does not include analytics SDKs that automatically transmit inventory or schedule usage data to Crux Horizon, and does not use cross-app advertising tracking. If these practices change, this policy will be updated.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can modify or delete records within VialVault. Reset App Data removes VialVault’s local application data from that device. Reset does not remove backups, shared PDFs, or emails already stored or sent elsewhere.

Because VialVault does not currently operate a VialVault cloud inventory account, there is no VialVault cloud inventory account to delete. Removing the app from a device typically removes the app’s local storage on that device, subject to how your operating system manages application data.

Website and Hosting

Product and company pages on the Crux Horizon website, including this policy and VialVault QR fallback pages, are part of a static informational website. The current website source does not set cookies or use analytics tools. Hosting or platform providers may process ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address, browser type, or request time, under their own practices.

For company-level website practices, see also the Crux Horizon Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when VialVault’s practices change or applicable requirements evolve. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
