Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Crux Horizon handles information in connection with VialVault and related support communications during the VialVault beta.

Overview

VialVault is a privacy-focused application with local data storage. Information entered into the application is intended to remain on the device where VialVault is used, except when a user chooses to export, back up, or share that information. This policy applies to the VialVault beta and communications sent directly to Crux Horizon.

Information We Store

VialVault stores the inventory, scheduling, preferences, and other content that a user enters into the application. This application data is stored locally on the user's device. Crux Horizon does not routinely receive the content entered into VialVault.

Local Data Storage

VialVault's primary application data is stored locally on the device. Users are responsible for controlling access to their device and maintaining appropriate device-level security. Device operating systems, device backups, or services separately enabled by the user may handle local application data under their own settings and policies.

Feedback and Support Communications

If a user contacts Crux Horizon or submits beta feedback, we may receive the information they choose to provide, such as their name, email address, message, and relevant diagnostic details. We use this information to respond, investigate issues, improve VialVault, and administer the beta. Users should avoid including sensitive information that is not needed to address their request.

Backup Files

VialVault may allow users to create or manage backup or export files. These files may contain application data. Users control where those files are saved, copied, or shared and should store them in a location they consider secure. Crux Horizon does not receive a backup file unless the user deliberately sends it to us.

Data Security

Crux Horizon uses reasonable administrative and technical practices when handling information provided directly to us. No storage or communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their devices, accounts, and backup files with appropriate access controls.

Data Deletion Requests

Because VialVault application data is stored locally, users can manage or remove that data through the application and their device. To request deletion of personal information provided directly to Crux Horizon through feedback or support, email us at the address below. We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to meet legal, security, or record-keeping obligations.

Third-Party Services

A user's device platform, application distributor, email provider, or other service selected by the user may process information independently of Crux Horizon. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Crux Horizon is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as VialVault develops, our practices change, or applicable requirements evolve. The updated policy will be published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate product or support channel.
